You too can be part of the team as our group offers on-going training by Scouts Victoria as well as hands on training mentored by experienced leaders.
Scouting is rewarding and a welcoming experience, regardless of your age, gender or any previous experience in Scouting movement.
Leaders help young members through their transition up to the next Section, taking into account the youth’s development and maturity.

No prior experience is needed. All training pathways and required resources are provided.
It is a great opportunity for you to share you time with your child (if they are in the unit) or the children watching and guiding them learning new skills, taking on challenges that boost their confidence, achieving their milestones, awarding them with badges is truly a remarkable experience. It is also an opportunity for you to contribute to your local community.
You can start off by volunteering as a parent helper in assisting leaders during activities or camps to get familiarise with what Scouting is all about. This is also a great opportunity to work together with your child and see how they develop themselves.
If you are already a parent helper and you are ready to take the next step, you can communicate with the Group Leader and you will be guided on the next steps and taking the necessary trainings.
